Golden Dome of Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque
The Travel Griot looks out over the divided city of Jerusalem. In the distance is the Dome of the Rock, one of the holiest shrines of Islam. The ground it sits on is also holy to Jews, and Christians, adding to the problems and drama of the region.
